Got a call from 201-716-4468 today.. Male on other end seemed to be faking tone of his voice asked to speak to "the person who handles security for this website" and when told "how may I help you" he hung up.
Google map places the location to within a very short distance of Comodo's physical location.
A phone call to Comodo technical support got an acknowledgment that this is them.
It may be unprofessional, but appears to simply be a reminder to renew your SSL.
Never contact a phone number that calls YOU about a security key even if they appear legitimate.
If you got this type of phone call, call Comodo back after looking up the number yourself. Let them know that the manner of notification was less than professional. They will want to know.
A guy called and asked who was in charge of my server's security. When I told him
the person wasn't in and asked how he got the number, he hanged up.
Probably got the phone number from one of my registered domains.
