Yes, this is either a scam to get you to pay some "processing fee" or deductible or plain vanilla insurance fraud. Why in the world you need your DNA tested anyway? As far as knowing your info, that can happen in many ways. Insurance company leak is possible. If you are older, over 55, you are targeted since you are apt to be trusting, and also can be intimidated.
Do NOT call these crooks back. Do not talk to them if they call again. That just gets you more calls from them and others. Block the calls from that number.
You might be able to report this to your insurance carrier. It is worth calling your carrier to see if they are interested in having the phone number and the name the crooks are using. Long shot, but might help others.
Several calls from this number during the past 24 hours. Identified as Express Labs Services. Asked for my son by name. When I asked if I could take a message, the woman said she would call back. I asked her not to. We'll see. Suspect scam so will block.
Called everyday for past month but would just hang up. Caller is female mid 20s early 30s she's either in an office or some type of bus station or other public place that has alote of people. Well spoken sounds hot too.
Have noticed several calls on my ID so I picked up. They asked for my husband and when I asked them to identify themselves they said Express Labs. I asked for details and what it was in regards to, she got snippy and said they'd call back. I said I am the health insurance provider and there was no need. She got snippy, repeated her plans to call again and hung up. Wish my landline had a block option.
