WOW! Looks like somewhere past the 1st few responses regarding this number, the forum has turned into personal attacks against each other. How sadly and swiftly it all went wrong.
I count the messages as follows:
11 messages describing the content of calls or complaining about the calls
9 messages giving information as to how to handle the calls
3 potential or actual "burns"
5 side discussions, not about the subject at hand
Except for your post and mine (which I didn't count in the above numbers), and one general comment which I counted as a "burn", but which may not have been, the entire second page consists of messages describing the content of calls or complaining about calls. An exchange of information.
The "burns" disappeared in the middle of page 1, when a couple of posters explained their approaches to helping people deal with this type of scam call.
I don't see a degeneration into mud-slinging and insults. It's a shame that you did.
Now I have to get the putty knife to get that shill off my shoes. Always fun to see the regulars deal with a crook. Like when a cat plays with a mouse.

Yep--especially the ones who have little grasp of the King's Englsih. Their pathetic attempts to legitimize their scams gives them away---EVERY time.
