Quite honestly, I don't remember what I said but when someone attacks me and questions my intelligence, I do tend to get defensive and say what I'm thinking. I don't take any stuff off of anyone but I should have taken the high road as I am doing now since you felt it necessary to call me an idiot.
And for some reason, even my original post was also removed. Again, my memory isn't the best but I'm pretty sure that I said something about the DNC list being useless or something to that effect and that's when Slim attacked my intelligence and it made me angry. Then Gunnar replied and was very kind and made a point without being a jerk.
I Googled this number and this site came up. Maybe I should have just left well enough alone and ignored it if people who think they are being helpful find it necessary to belittle others. I think I will not be back. I'll just report the numbers to DNC (thanks for the reminder Slim) and be done with keyboard bullies.
Lori, if you're going to post about the DNC, do some research. We get FAR too many people that come in and make a post that is false when they could have done 5 minutes of research and found out what it does and does not cover.
Since I have "at least moderate cognitive capability" I will respond to your pseudo intellectual rambling. It's like this moron, the REASON that people register their number on the DNC list in the first place is to avoid calls from spammers and scammers. Since the DNC call list cannot do that, it is then useless. That's deductive reasoning. Put that in your "cerebral capacity' and shove it. I have to admit though, your response is quite laughable and gave me a bit of a chuckle. FYI: intelligent and educated people do not overwork the language when writing or speaking. Many ignorant people such as yourself do this thinking it makes them appear intellectual. It does not. Get a clue.
Please show us where on the FTC website that the Do Not Call list is supposed to prevent spammers and scammers from calling. Otherwise you are a fool for believing that.
Since registering with Do Not Call, I have yet to receive a call from a legitimate telemarketer.
Since spammers and scammers are criminals, do you really think they will obey the law?
