Please don't take offense. Many of us here deal with the same issues every day. Some are extreme, some are not. We can lose sight sometimes of what we're here to do. We're here to help. We're human & we can lose patience.
The long time regulars here all have a different way of dealing with things. The most important ones are those that are willing to inform & to educate. They are the ones that make the real difference. There are others that have a different agenda. They are the ones that make impacts that you won't hear about. It all boils down to the same thing. There are people here that have made real things happen in the fraudulent, bogus & third party debt collection "industry". So much so that this site is feared from Buffalo to Mumbai.
Forgive us if we become surly at times. Most of what is said is meant to be in good humor. Unless you're an obvious target working for a fraud or a JDB. When those types show up, it never goes well...

Agreed. But the Legislature would have to think that it was important, and then hold hearings, and then find a way to describe the scammers' approaches in legalese, but still in a direct enough way that normal people could understand what was legal and what was not, and ...
