Received call after hours on answering machine. Odd that a ligit broker would call after business hours (first red flag). Sounded like a recorded message (second red flag). Googled the name of HDI Consultants and the phone number & came across all of you! (third red flag). Sounds like a scam, probably is a scam. I will not be returning the phone call. Phone number he left was 908-444-9671 with a name of Jim Carwell in the beginning and Jim Caraway at the end of the message (fourth red flag). Thanks to all for taking the time to post your experiences.
Exact thing happened to us. Same number and name of guy. We will not be calling this number back. Does not sound legit. If he was really interested in buying the business, call during business hours. Jim Kilroy with the number 908-444-9671.
