I am getting calls from 201.793.1716 but it shows up as JERSEYCITY NJ - same symptoms as others have reported - hangups and no messages. I am also getting similar calls from a number 336.272.0604 showing up as GREENSBORO, NC. Apparently some mass media company has figured out how to make these IDs show up this way on caller-id.
This number constantly calls my workplace. Caller ID shows they're even calling on the weekends when no one is here. If I pick up the phone it's just dead air, and if I let it go to voicemail they never leave a message.
