They have called me about 20 x in the last few days. I asked them to please stop calling and the man (Indian accent) yelled at me saying, "I will not stop calling you". Telling me I have been chosen for a free grant.
Received two calls on my cell at work today, consecutively. Don't answer. Then another call around 6:30 pm. I picked up, Indian woman said I going to receive a grant that I want ever have to pay back. That I wouldn't have to provide my credit card number or anything. (Wtf?) I kept letting her talk. She said as long as I'm a US citizen, I'll receive this grant. I asked if she knew who she was talking to... She said my name.. But I said no. Then she asked of I was a US Citizen. I said No. Then asked of I was a permanent resident. I said no. Then... Asked if I was a terrorist. Before I could even respond and ask if she was. Click. She hung up. Wtf. Guess I got off easier than others I have read here. The # is now blocked from my phone.
This number has called me several times a day 201-844-6474.They told me I won a chance to check out some website.The guy said I had to get on my computer while I was on the phone with him.I said no,and told them to quit calling me.Since then they have called me a couple more times.Sick of scams.
