If you press two then you are just playing their game. They don't care about removing you from their list. Don't pick up calls from numbers you don't recognize. If it's important enough they will leave a voicemail. These are people who are confirming that your line is active so they can sell it to other scammers.
This numbers calls, rings only one time and hangs up. I'm a busy person with family out of state and never know when they may call. This type of call is wasting my time when I have business calls I'm waiting on.
