I got a call today from someone saying that i won $2.5 million but i had to pay $399.00 for them to bring my money to me they told me it was on a ups truck and that there would be a lawyer so i could put into my bank account I didnt do it but he's calling me back tomrrow what should i say to beacause he has called me all day to day if anyone has the awsner please let me know
I suggest telling him "I am NOT going to give you any money". Then hang up on him. Or start calling him all your favorite obscene names. Or hold the phone over the toilet and flush.
Better yet, don't answer the phone. Contact your phone company to see if the calls can be blocked. If he is calling your cell phone put his number in your contacts list and assign it the ring tone "no ring". That won't stop the calls but it will make them easier to ignore.
My mom received a phone call from 702-421-4762 and was told she had won a prize and did she not receive a letter about it. When she told him she thought he was a hoax he then asked to speak to my dad and called him by name. She told him he had had a stroke and couldn't speak to him and then hung up the phone and called me. I called him back and he said he was Dave with Fed Ex and that my mom had won 2.5 million dollars. I said "Yeah right, like I believe that and am reporting you." He said " Oh you're reporting me? Want my id number?" I said "yeah". He rattled off 60058361 like that's a legit number. I hate these people that try to scam the elderly. I wished he lived closer so I could handle this personally.
hi my name is laurie i think my mom has been scammed.what can i do?there are 3 different numbers.here is the first,917-580-6827 the second one is 318-266-8278 and this is the last,888-415-7074.they all speak it sounds like spanish.one man calls himself mr.joe lopez.he says my mom won back in 2011.we are just hearing about this last week.she has already made 2 big payments.i am concerned for her.
