First time that I got a call from this company. although I do get my med's from them, they usually send
any response by my e-mail. I return their call but the numer stay's busy.
Damn! Why can't Medco just utilize my email? It would be different if it were "life and death" but it's NOT!!! It is routine crap. I know how to come out of the rain .... Medco, you're not my mommy. My cell phone is for family and close friends (and business that I initiate). Everytime they are going to mail a prescription, they think they have to call? I am aware that this will be the last refill and I will go to my doctor when I am good and ready. If my prescription is renewed, I will have the doctor's office fax Medco. If I discontinue my prescription, I will email and/or call you. I don't have all the mega phone minutes to sit on the phone talking to your computer and then waiting for a human to pick up because your system doesn't like my answers/tone/etc. Geez! Leave me alone. My life is busy and I don't have time to hang on the phone!
Very likely because of HIPAA (health information privacy law) concerns. The only thing I get from Medco via email are shipping notices and refill notices (but those are heavily redacted so as not to give out too much information.)
