I got the same call today but it didn't show up as 911 it showed up as the phone # itself and I got the same voicemail as everyone else that if I didn't call back in a timely manner I would be arrested. So I called back & they were claiming I had taken out an online payday advance and I was being charged with 3 class 3 felonies and it scared me to death as well. So I called my bank & they went back to when I had opened my account & looked all through it & I had never gotten a direct deposit payday loan, so I called my lawyer and was told right then that it was a SCAM & not to give them any information or anything she said they do not have any real information they are just trying to get your credit card or debit card information..
I received a few calls from a Deputy Sheriff Barbara Price and they will not tell me the date of the pay day loan i took out and only mentioned United cash Funds. I kept asking for info so I can settle this to see what they woul;d say and she said that they are not authorized to do that. I keep getting these %#$%$^%$%$ phone calls and i can't even sleep at night because of the threats of legal action and coming to arrest me. This needs to be stopped!!!
I got a call from Violet Watson with the Federal State Bureau of New Jersey. She said there were criminal charges againt me for not re-paying a payday loan. She then read off all of this munbo jumbo about the charges against me.....in the meantime I looked up the # online that she was calling from, that's how I got here!! She asked me my intentions and I said I have no intentions since I never got a pay day loan and I am looking at the posts about your calls online right now. You are not going to scare me into giving you any money! She hung up.
We just received the same voice mail that a New Haven County Sheriff's Office was gonna arrest us if we did not turn ourselves in within 12 hours. We called the number to see what these federal charges were against us and was left on hold for approximately 10 min. During that time, I googled in the phone number on-line and low and behold, here I am. The lady Michelle Morris could not provide any information about what this federal warrant was about, and then hung up on us. I called her back and blasted her as I am a legal secretary and proceeded to tell her to briing it on. Come arrest us. I will destroy you in court and hung up. Let's see if they call back with anymore threats. If they do, I am contacting the State Attorney Genera's Office in CT.
