Ha, you foiled his plan to tell you that your computer was sending viruses out to other computers!! And I'm sure he could fix it for a very low price!!! SCAM!!!
Once again it is 7:30 am and I get a call from 202-011-3341; she asked if I was Mrs. so & so and if I had my computer on. Then she asked if I was the main user of said computer. Call in the best health in regards to windows; everytime I browse thru the internet unsecure information is getting on my hard-drive. I told her it was 7:30 am and I was fixing breakfast, so I asked for a call back number, she wanted to know why I wanted to call her back. Once again I asked for a call back number, she said to hold on, then she disconnected the call. This woman was very argumentative...I told her she was trying to scam me and I wanted no part of it, she then tried to tell me she wasn't scamming me...she was very argumentative. Turning this over to the Attorney General.
My husband took this call today, and I'm not sure exactly what he did. He said they had our name and address, and my husband actually started pulling up the files that the guy was talking about on our computer. Does anyone know what damage these guys do to your computer? He ended up telling them they'd have to talk to me, but I'm afraid some damage might already have been done.
