Anyone harassed by these area code 202 scams should consider simply blocking the entire 202 area code. It is often used by scammers located in India and Pakistan.
If you get a call from them, let them know that you filed your FAFSA so you're super excited that you've received the grant money! Ask if they're going to have it sent to your school's financial aide department. They will then hang up on you and block you from being able to call them back. Mission Accomplished!
Got 11 calls from this number between 10:09 - 2:56. No message. Never answered. If I don't know the caller I don't answer. Wish I knew how to block this number on my phone.
