I keep getting these phone calls from this phone# (202) 114-2944 who states that they are an officer with the irs and case judgement has been placed against me...this is only a recorded voice and not a live human calling. I just reject the phone calls as it calls me cell phone.
I also receive phones from ph# (202) 114-2944 as a live human person states that I have been awarded $9800 and would like to some information from me. The man's voice sounds like a middle east person placing the phone call...this is a scam.

I get phone calls several times a day from 202-114-2944. At first I answered the phone as the man said he was an officer with the IRS and had a judgement against me. This was a recording. It went on to state I was to call them back immediately if I did not want to cause any problems. I just ignored the call. A couple of days later I received another call from the same number, however, this time it was another recording, but from a woman who said she was an officer with the IRS and they had already called me and I had not called them back. And, now I MUST return the call that day or I was going to be in serious trouble. Again, I just ignored the call. I still get these calls every day like clock work, several times a day, but now I just let the answering machine pick up the calls and ignore them.
