Yes it's a scam number. I'm sorry nothing in life is free! Not even your grant money from the government. I'm sure if the government was giving me free money it would be in writing wired to my bank account or a gift card! LMAO
I just got a call from 202-177-7222 saying I was selected for a $10,000 grant because I was a good citizen, no bankruptsy, no criminal record, blah blah blah. Well I worked for the Government for 34 years and know they don't call you and they don't give grants without you applying for them. I told him I wasn't interested and he hung up on me. SCAM!!!
Got a call I from a man who sounded like from the Middle East stating I won 10,000..but I need to pay a 200+ to get it... I told him to deduct it from my winnings..he got angry...lmao click
Got a call on my call phone from a man, with a very heavy accent, who stated I had been selected by the US Government to receive a loyalty grant of $10,200 based on my good credit and ability to pay bills on time. After his intro, he said all he needed was the Bank Information to deposit the money directly into my account, or any credit card information.
I stated that this would not be a problem once I receive an email or letter from the US Government confirming this information is in legit. I also asked for his name and email, since I already had his phone number. At this point he hung up. I tried to call the number back but this phone is unlisted and unable to take incoming calls.
