I DO NOT HAVE SPRINT, but this scammer called my number - left no message. I rarely answer names of numbers I don't recognize - just check them out on the web. BINGO! Another scammer.
Also have Sprint. Calls started yesterday morning and received at least 5 the first day. 2 more today. Same thing, no message, doesn't ring back right away, then says out of service.
I Kept receiving calls from this number this past week until I finally decided to answer, the caller ID indicates it's a D.C. number and when I answered a guy with what it seemed a strong middle eastern accent answered saying his name is "Edward Foster" he couldn't say his name right and so I repeated it back to him and I asked what the call was about and he said something about Washington dc federal financing something so I asked again to repeat what he said and he started acting as if the call was breaking yet I heard him fine and he hung up. Best guess they're those people that try to get people scared into paying an "alleged account or balance" by threating you to take legal action. This happened to me before apparently due to some quick loan I applied to over 4 years ago they had my info but I knew I owed nothing so I researched and found other people were called and threaten the same way so when they called again I told them I had reported them to the FBI consumer complaint website and I stopped receiving calls. I guess they came up with something that would really scare Americans into paying which is federal accounts and such. People do not let them fool you tell them that you've read online about their scam and have reported them to the FBI for fraud and scamming even if you haven't. I hate when these douchbags, pieces of crap try to take advantage of people and manipulating them into giving them their hard earned money while they sit and laugh their [***] off wherever it is they are. Please pass on the word don't let these scam artists take your money.
