yesterday, i received a call from this number. since i didn't recognize the number, i let my answering machine pick up the call. here's the message they left me: "This message is meant for <my name>. This is investigation officer Jim Marshall from Internal Revenue Services. This call is regarding the warrant (unclear) against your name and your passport is kept on hold by the US government. Your warrant ID is CM10010. So I want you to call me on urgent basis. The hotline to my division is 202-204-0484. I repeat it is 202-204-0484. Again this is officer Jim Marshall with Internal Revenue Services, Washington DC. Have a good day." i did not return the call until it was well after office hours. it went straight to a mailbox with a nondescript outgoing message (no mention of the IRS). "Jim Marshall" did speak with a distinctly indian accent (i should know, i am indian-american myself). apparently, these scamsters are targeting immigrants. see http://stlouis.bbb.org/article/st-louis-count ... bbb-warns-44018
in order to make sure that this is indeed a hoax and not the result of some mail that i missed, i called the IRS. i've been on hold for over 2 hours.
Those Indians they called me for the second time with the number 1 202 204 0484 presenting him self as technicians from Microsoft.
Now have some fun with them, and here are warning all what they read this post.
They now have a website www.121usahelp.com
They will want you to open the Run window and write this address
When you click OK, this open the website on which they will ask for permission for the entrance to your computer.
Never click on agree, close this page immediately.
Open the run window again and write regedit click OK
Then edit and find
Write 121usahelp. com and search for files
All file which are have 121usahelp delete
Close the registry and restart your computer.
They now want to enter in your computer, I think that there is time for step-up the FBI because it's no joke.
The person who posted this is 100% correct. These people represent themselves as Microsoft employees who want to fix your virus or problem reported. They usually ask you to click on a link that they want to email you. DO NOT give them your information. I have used the FBI's complaint form and got immediate results. They contacted the local sheriff and they drove to the man's house. He was given 5 business days to send me a cashiers check or be charged with a felony. It was $75 and was from somebody on ebay. I kept accurate email correspondences that I had to provide to the FBI.

I've dealt with these false Microsoft people for over a year and I don't think we can provide enough info to the FBI to complete the form unless the website can be shut down on their end. Good luck and remember to NEVER give information to anyone who calls you.
The message I received came from 202-751-2554 asking me to turn myself in to the nearest marshal's office. The recording said they were in from DC and closed with 'have a blessed day'.
Your best recourse; don't answer, don't call back, and block number if you can. Anything else and you're just playing right into what they want you to do
