the idiot has me frightened because the phone number really is an attorney's office - but not frightened enough to call him back of course and certainly not to give him any money! I'm pretty savvy and aware of scams, but the fact that it truly is an attorney's office has me wondering if it's legit.
I checked out the phone number as well and it appeared to be an attorney's office. So I googled-mapped the address and it is an apartment complex. The suite that the" attorney" allegedly uses is vacant and for sale.
I got the same call from these idiots this morning. I just hung up on them. I'm on disability and in a wheelchair . My income is not taxable. They are such pathetic scammers!
I just received a call from a "John Wilson" claiming to be from the IRS. Had me scared shitless saying I was going to be arrested and etc from tax fraud and saying that they had audited me from 2002-2008, I wasn't even old enough to have a job then, he tried to get me to send money through a greendot moneypak, then I knew it was a scam, people beware of this [***].
