Ive been called twice by these A**holes this week...I feel terrible for older people who might actually believe these guys. If you're not savvy or if English is your second language, you could be duped by these guys. I've reported them to TIGTA.gov and everyone else should do the same and get these guys shut down.
I just got the same phishing call on my answer machine, too. He is also a John something from the IRS, but he sounds too Indian to be a John something. [***], even scamming is outsourced, too. Come on, dude. Next time, get an American voice, please.
Received a call on my cell from this number this morning. Called back from a land line and got "Agent Adam King". He said that from the Dept. of Legal Affairs for the U.S. Treasury. He asked for my cell number and I said before I give it to him could I have is Agent/Employee number. He hung up....LOL
I call the Dept. of Treasury. The Dept of Tres don't make calls to individuals and they are aware of the scam. I was referred to http://www.treasury.gov/tigta/ to report it.
Message was very garbled, especially at the beginning so I don't know who the lawsuit threat was purportedly from. Probably on purpose. Obviously the same loser pseudo-attorney that failed the bar 8 times. Anyway, it's a scam and the only good thing that could happen is he tries to swindle a mob boss and gets whacked. A low-life indian sounding bodily by-product.
