I received a call today and a man with a heavy accent said he was from the Dept of Justice Criminal Division. He claimed that FedEx delivered documents to my home twice of which I never received. He knew my address and started to claim there was something wrong with my taxes. At that point I realized it was a scam and cut him off. After Googling this phone number I see that he was a scammer...I wish the U.S. Government will go after these scammers and put them behind bars...
I got a message on my phone on Saturday, stating that I have to call this phone immediately ((202) 239-2063). This time that was agent Kevin Marshall from CIA, badge ID 19538, warning me about upholding some important information from the government and threatening me with a lawsuit if I do not call back immediately. I don't think real CIA agents conduct their business that way and on Saturdays, on top of all. Glad to find other victims of that scam have experienced calls from the same phone - that helped me greatly understand my problem and the perpetrators tactics - the phone line is noisy, not a normal land line quality and "agent Kevin" had a noticeable accent as well.
THEY JUST CALLED ME, FBI THEY SAID, WITH A WARRANT OUT FOR ME, DID I GET THE LETTER, SO I SAID NO BUT I KNOW THIS IS A SCAM,BUT WILL HAVE MY BROTHER THE CHIEF OF POLICE CALL YOU, AND HE STILL DID NOT HANG UP, I COULD NOT GET DISSCONNECTED, I HUNG UP AND HE CALLED BACK SEVERAL TIMES,FINALLY I PICKED UP AND SAID STOP CALLING, HE SAID I WILL GET YOU YOU [***] [***]
A guy with heavy Indian accent asked for my son contact information, said that my son owes them money. My son lives in another state, and has never been registered at our address. The guy said that our phone number is the only one they found in my son's file (whatever they mean by the "file"). He addressed to myself and my son by first name only. Said he is police officer - didn't get the name. I said I am not giving any information by phone to unknownn person and asked him to stop calling us. He started yelling at me, I hung up.
Received call 11/17/14 from this number, 202-239-2063. IRS Criminal Investigation Division, Officer Roy Cage, yet with Indian/Pakistani accent. We owe $5,260.00 for 2005, 2007 and 2009. Wanted penalty only today or will be arrested - $3894.00 penalty! Go to Safeway and get preloaded pack/green dot cards equalling $3894. They will show up at my door to show proof of debt and collect payment. Police later told me they will simply try to get green dot card numbers from me by phone and never show up at door because are not in our country! They called back before I talked to police so didn't answer. When call again I'll have my fun on the way out of this adventure!! BE AWARE OF THIS ONE !!
