i recieved a call from 480-409-4352 phoenix az that told me i was chosen for 7,000 in grant money gave me a code then told me to call 206-905-9483 and talk to harry brown that told me to go to the nearest weastern union it would cost me 270 but i would get that money back i told him i would have wiat till tomorrow and got on line and looked for grant scams and look what i have found
I received a call today from 202 506 1967 stating that i was granted $9000, the said to call back this number 202 738-1197 and speak with Kevin Cage. He informed me that I would have to pay the Western Union office $319 and money would be sent back to me along with grant. I told him that was a scam and he reported that he would mail me a letter in the morning for verification. This story is to good to be true, people be careful.
They offered me a $84,000 tax FREE grant because I didn't have a record and have been doing well in school. They told me to pay a fee of $235.00 that would go to charity and had to be paid through Western Union; and that when I did that I would get my grant within 15 minutes. I wanted to check it out because that sounded fishy. The government giving out FREE money....too good to be true.
Same thing just happened to me. I was to receive govt grant of $7000 ....all they needed was for me to go to Western union and call. With security deposit of $190. He would send the money right back. Told him this was a scam and hung up. Number was 315 636 4731. Scam

I paid my taxes and all government bills on time, haven't filed for bankruptcy in the last 6 months, and I have no criminal record...therefore, I have been selected to receive $7,000 if I pay a 100% refundable $270 security deposit. Gimmie a break! I'm a single mom of 3 making just over minimum wage! Even if I DIDN'T have a brain in my head and fell for it, where on earth would I find an extra $270?!? I don't take ask for government handouts, but I would sure as heck take one if it were offered...FOR REAL. However, I'm not stupid. You don't have to give the US government a security deposit, and they have the money to send me $7,000 but they can't write and mail a check?!?
