They just called me too! 3 calls from Washington D.C  it started at 5:30 a.m. they left an automated message saying it's the final attempt to reach me and that I need to call back. And I'm in seattle too. woke me up on my day off!

They are calling and saying they are the IRS using an automated machine. Definitely a scam, that actual IRS had not tried to call me. Do not give them any of your personal information. Contact the IRS and report this # like I did.

Got several calls saying they are ITS..which I know they are not!  I called number..man talking very low with very thick accent said I owed money to the IRS for 2010 taxes and someone would be at my door in 30 min. I laughed so hard, h hung up,told him reported!

Yup, brought to you by the same scammers no less Its not unusual to see these threads go from phony tech support, to government grants, phony pharmacy and meds to IRS scam.

Do a search on call blocking devices and phones.If its a cell phone, there are free call blocking apps out there including trac & straight talk.

This is a scam. IRS contacts by mail and they know your name. DO NOT offer any personal information. Do block call so you needn't be bothered by these scammers again.
