I have a brand-new phone number, may be a month old. The only person that has the number is my husband and yet I keep getting loads of weird calls about loans, lawyers, and now owing money to the IRS. The caller stated that me, and my family, are being investigated for tax fraud. They also said there were warrants for our arrests. However, as every other words was "umm" I sincerely doubted it was the government! I hung up but I am sure I will get another call from them. I am going to block the number but these people seem get new numbers so quickly.
Weirdly enough i just arrived to DC last week for my first time and i get a call from 202-241-4952. He claimed that i had a warrant out for my arrest for not paying my taxes. Well that is impossible because i have paid all my taxes on time. So if there are any lawyers out there who are reading this please give some advice on how to stop this person. I just hope people try and google his number before giving out any sensitive info.
