Claimed to be from the United States Attorney's Office. Name Adam Reese. Said there was a warrant out for my arrest for violation of federal banking regulations but I could work out an "offer in compromise" to avoid arrest. Total scam!
Just like some of the above have been receiving these calls for the past two month claiming to be from the IRS and an affidavit against my name concerning tax fraud. Threatening arrest warrant.
Report the Calls to the real IRS here:
•report the incident to the Treasury Inspector General for Tax Administration at 800-366-4484.
•You can also file a complaint with the Federal Trade Commission at FTC.gov. Add "IRS Telephone Scam" to the comments in your complaint.

Do consider maybe getting a call blocking device or phone.. You can google them and many are around $60.00 or so.

They call me 2 or 3 times a day and they are sending me emails now they are claiming to be with adams law firm they say a warrant has veen issued for me and I need to call them si they can help me before I get in any trouble at work or home.
