I got a recording about being sued by the IRS. When I called back, I got a recording about Magic Jack. It ended by saying the number I had dialed had not been assigned to a customer.
Mr. Cooper (with a heavy Indian accent) claiming to be from the IRS said I owed $2000 in back taxes and had to pay immediately or the IRS would put a lien on my property and garnish my wages. Called the IRS, and was told I didn't owe anything and that it was a scam. If these dirtbags have called, don't sweat it.
Robo-call stating that there are legal actions pending with the IRS and "your" taxes. Stated the we must "call 202-241-8518 immediately". As far as I know the IRS does not initiate a legal action by telephone on a Saturday morning before 8am. This is a SCAM!
