This number has called on several occasions over the past couple weeks. They leave a broken message only saying to call back this number is a computer type monotone pronunciation. Here is the log. I hope these guys realize they are being traced.

Received message from this number today.....202-241-8575.....guy had foreign accent saying a lawsuit was filed in the local county courthouse....told the guy he should be ashamed of himself and further that he's not even a good scammer as he did not know the location of the local courthouse..... Said a few more choice words to him and told him to try scamming someone else in his native country, which sounded like India or Pakistan .....sounds like a scam-!!!
Same deal as above. Lawsuit being filed, IRS fraud on previous years, pay us now or they call the local sheriff to come and arrest us. Knew it was a scam and did number check online and reached this posting. There is a link at IRS.gov to report suspected fraud calls. Don't know if it helps, but you can report it. Mention Officer Jack Cooper (of the New Delhi Coopers)
Received two calls today from 202-241-8575 - 1st call @ 9:00am & 2nd call @ 11:16am. Didn't recognize the number so I ignored the 1st call, but when the same number called again I thought I should answer the 2nd time. It was a recording saying they were the IRS & a lawsuit had been filed in my name & I needed to call back today before the paperwork was forwarded to the courthouse this afternoon. There was no specific information given on the recording as to who the call was for, myself, my husband or my daughter. It was a scary phone call to receive, but I'm glad I looked up the number here before returning the call.
