I just got the same type of a call from a woman (Asian) stating she was with the US government and that the government chose 1700 people from different states to receive a $7k grant, that doesn't have to be paid back...oh really. She said they automatically put in my checking account, put it on my mc or visa card or send me cash thru western union...ding, ding, ding...I told her to go F herself and hung up!
They called 4 times today so far. Not picking up no matter how many times they call. Especially after reading the comments already and seeing it is an obvious scam
