Man with heavy Indian accent left voicemail claiming he is from the head office of the Crime and Investigation dept in DC. He said his name is Officer Jason Harper. Said our physical address is under federal investigation. Case ID: CM100122. Phone #: 202-280-7844. I'm guessing it's a total scam per the above. Thx!
I got the same call. indian accent and claiming to be officer Jason Harper and I have to call back. When I called back a woman with the same accent answered and she hung up when I push her to find out who she was. tried to call many times with no answer just the answering machine
I am Posting this after reading your listed reports because I to got the same call but from a different number.

I guest we all have the same agent and case number. I called back and was told he was not there and when I refuse to speak with anyone else I was told to hold while he go get him.. No! I did not hold .

Do consider maybe getting a call blocking device or phone.. You can google them and many are around $60.00 or so.
claimed I was being investigated., (never gave the reason). I told them I will provide their number to a lawyer who can speak with them they hung up. This is the second time this month I have been contacted with some claim that I was being investigated. Reported first one to IRS and FTC.
