Washington Post calling about Savings Now coupons. Just another way to get people to call them so they can throw sales pitches, etc. at whoever calls them.

Said they were from Washington post. Kept asking me for my carb info to complete the transaction. Didn't know my actual name just what I go by. Creepy creepy creepy.
I live in DC metro area, and, have been a subscriber to Washington Post since 1977. I have always,ALWAYS, paid by check. Last month had $250.00 charge on my Capital One Visa for Washington Post, along with phone number (202) 334-6100. I called Post at this number, and they have no record of any Visa payment, they even stated my quarterly payment was past due, and sent a written invoice to my home. I called Capital One, and they began investigation. Received letter from Capital One that the $250.00 charge had been credited back to my account, and when I phoned they said that all the info they could provide was that the investigation confirmed my report of a fraudulent charge, and my account had been adjusted.. Since the beginning of August I have been receiving daily calls from this number, with CID Washington Post, and no message left. Strange.
