Got 3 calls today, every time they could give me no information. Could not even tell me the correct state I live in. They asked my name I said John Smith. They replayed with yes it's you. Then they said they are going to send the police, Q:asked what the wanted A: my attorneys information.
I just got three of these phone calls and am headed to the police department with these posts. and my 3 phone calls. My husband is a CPA and the IRS does not call on the phone. Maybe we need to do something about this real soon as i am planning on doing. Scammers you will be owing us money soon!
Jan 28, 2016 Message left on my recorder stating a lawsuit has been filed against me and to call 202-352-5195. SCAM! Please read the post from Kiwane detailing info about this number.
The IRS does not need to sue anyone. They send you first class letters delivered by the Post Office. Several of them. Ignore those, and they then send certified letters that you need to sign for. Again delivered by the Post Office. Ignore those and they simply freeze your bank accounts and anything else you own. If they can do that, then why would they bother with a court case that might take them years before they get in front of a judge?
