My message was left on an answering machine. A mechanical voice saying the IRS was filing a lawsuit against me and gave me this number to call back. Of course when I call it took a very long time to connect and then it just rings with no answer, or it's a busy signal. So I thought it was crazy the IRS would call and leave voice messages in the first place. I got online and found it's a scam. My brother got the same one and it totally freaked him out. I hope these people get caught and go to jail for a very long time.
I received a call from this number at 5:38 p.m. this evening stating from a recording it was the IRS they have been trying to reach me about a law suit that has being filed against me with a number to call back I tried the number with a lot of ringing and no answer. I decided to look the number up and very glad I did. I am so glad other people have nothing better to do with their time but try to SCAM people and raise a panic in others lives. The bad thing about this is there is always a different number so they don't pay for what they put people through...I hope this this person Damion Pearson 202-367-6968 will get what he deserves.
Same deal with me. [***] left me a number (caller ID: Damion Pearson, with the same phone number) I wish that [***] would call me back! Bring I T ON!!!!!! Prick!
Got the same message yesterday. I reported it to the IRS and treasury dept. I'm going to try calling again Monday and if he answers and asks for my SSN I can't wait to tell him 911fuckoff.
