Received a call from this number as well as an automated voicemail. The voicemail stated ""This case file... Please call immediately on our department number 202 375-4789. I repeat 202 375-4789." Based on what other users have said, I am guessing I need not call them back!
Just received this voice mail and they stated that the IRS was raking legal action against me. Never know the IRS to call. They usually sent you a letter. So I think this is a scam.
Received a robo call from this number saying to call 202-375-4789 ASAP regarding a pending court action from the IRS. Immediately returned call and a foreign accent answered and asked my name. Told him as someone from this number had just called me regarding an IRS court action they should know who I am. I told him I did not believe he was with the IRS and he hung up.
