The IRS doesn't call you to tell you they are suing you. This is a scam. If you were really in trouble with the IRS they'd send you notice in the mail. Block the number.
Got a call from 202-386-6171. Did not recognize the number, let the answering machine pick it up. The message left was by an "American
sounding woman saying, "the IRS if filing suit against you." I say BRING IT ON! This call and all other unwanted calls will be reported to our state Attorney General's office and to the FCC!
Got a call saying they are IRS and that they are filing a lawsuit against me and to call 202-386-6171. I called back and a man with an accent answered and says he is the IRS, how can he help me. I got bad feeling, hung up and then checked the computer to find out this is a big scam. Please do something about this!!
