I got 2 calls from this number. I answered the second and she said can I speak to (my name) buy said it wrong I said this is (my name) who is this and she hung up.. Super weird.
My wife just got a call from an Indian accent speaking man about a 7000 dollar free grant from the government. I took the phone and asked him a lot of questions and he stuck to his story but as soon as he pushed the fact about calling back this special number I knew it was a scam. He kept repeating to be sure and call as soon as I hung up. There was no way we would call back. When you return the call they some how can get into your banking records.
Called saying I qualified for a 7000 dollar grant and had to pay 3.99 in order to process and receive my money. I never applied and get grants through my school and new it was a scam
They were on a dialer and when they picked up it sounded as though they were in the third world and refiused to identify who they were and why they were calling and when I stated I do not reconize them after the called me by name and tried to presure me into revealing they actually reached my name at my cell no. and then said F**K YOU because I would not accknologe I was the owner of the cell number. They have called from other numbers before with the same grant scam, 4 or more other times over the last year and always sounding South American or Philip. I am on the do not call list.
