I got 2 calls from this number. I answered the second and she said can I speak to (my name) buy said it wrong I said this is (my name) who is this and she hung up.. Super weird.
This man called me telling me he was from the Department of Health and some such BS, stating that I had been randomly selected for a $7,000 grant that II could use for expenses such as paying bills or expenses not to buy illegal drugs but that I would have to give him my banking information, I immediately hung up on him. I received the same phone call a few months ago. How can you stop these [***]?
Said I was eligible for a 7000 grant that would not have to be paid back.. Said could deposit in my checking account or put it on a prepaid credit card or give me cash has to call a different number. As soon as I asked who she worked for they hung up!! Big scam
I didn't bother to answer the call at out. But I went into details and kept wondering who is all these unknown people calling me? Turns out they are located in Washington D.c and the caller id claimed they were the terrorist . Don't tell them anything!! There no such thing as government giving out free money!! I gotta pay money just to receive money? BIG SCAM!! And you can put your life at a risk if you send them your info and money.. Protect your kids and moderate all the calls...
Got the same phony come-on as everyone else and strung him along. Then turned away from the phone and in a different voice said "OK, we got a trace on 'em!" CLICK!!
I got the call from the same number and thought it was going to be one of the colleges that I had been talking to and it was a guy moaning onto he phone "saying harder, aw yeah like that."
