Press 1 to speak to live operator, press 2 to discontinue notices but when you press 2 you get a live operator anyways and when you request not to be called anymore, they hang up. Called number back and voice mail says "Hi, this is Diane, leave a message." but the mailbox is full. SCAM SCAM SCAM
Same thing happened (home phone, though) as did to Annoyed Business. I'm laughing that we have this chick's number now. Will try her tonight when she is hopefully home and answers her phone so I can give her an earful! I suggest others do the same, so we can at least try to knock out one scam telemarketer.
Diane Yentel is NOT the scam artist we all detest. I'm PO'ed as much as the next person that these credit card/auto warranty pukes keep harassing us all. However, Diane is most certainly an innocent victim (private citizen) of mistaken identity. There is this concept known as spoofing that these fools engage in, thus our inability to track them and put them out of "businesss". So I wouldn't call this Diane. It won't do any good as you wouldn't be attacking the right source. Maybe just don't answer, leave the phone off the hook, or disconnect the answering machine.

I answered and received following nbr. "Hello, this is Hether with Credit Card Services. We are calling about your credit card. There is no problem, however, we may be able to help with your interest rate."
I hung up.
