I got the same exact call and did just as you did. However I will be reporting those idiot's on the "Do not call Registry". I would suggest that you all sign up for the program. It also includes cell phone numbers. MAYBE if we all report them they will do something about those idiots who insist on bugging people.
GET CALLS REGULAR FROM RECORDING THAT SAYS "HI THIS IS HEATHER FROM CREDIT CARD SERVICES. I HANG UP AND WILL CONTINUE TO DO SO. IT IS A NUISANCE, BUT VERY EASY TO JUST HANG UP!!!!
Called at 12.33, 30 July 2009. I did not recognize the name nor the number so I let it go to the answerphone, at which time the caller hung up barely five seconds (if that) into the greeting.
