The IRS Will NEVER Call you all official communication will only come in the form of a written letter and or if it was real serious you would receive it by CERTIFIED mail ONLY NO Exceptions
Local LEO and the state (Texas in my case) AG's had TV PSA asking folk to call with the information. I expect the IRS would be interested as well.
The few calls 've received I've given them an NP phone number directly to the AG's office investigating the abuse. Told him that was my bookkeeper and they would get a check right out.
The same number called me said they are freezing my assets and sent letters to my house for a bill that I NEVER heard of in the amount of 4900.00 I'm reading everyone else's and this is def a scam.
Same thing happened to me this morning and truly scared me for a few minutes until I figured out this was CLEARLY a scam! They are so mean on the phone and really tried to make me think I was going to jail within the hour if I didn't handle this right now. They also told me I owed $4900!
