I got one today with a phone number (233)333-3333 the guy gave me his name Steve Catlett. The red flag was he couldn't give a confirmation code for the US Treasury and # without the checking/savings or "plastic card" information.
Like many of people I havent paid one bill on time in forever!!!! Second of all how do they know if you have a felony or not when they didn't ask for a specific person in the household!!!
You just have to give at least one brownie point for audacity. These folks are real "hustlers". They know people are having a difficult time. They re-route these calls. I looked up the number 202 697 9719 and it was listed at an address in MD for a company named Bandwith. Really now? Even when I disclosed that I have never been approached by anyone taken a survey in my area and that I was fully aware of calls being sent through many routers in an effort to disguise one's self, they still kept coming. To all of you foreign University hustlers out there, Hire me. I need a job and cannot get one here in America.
