Hahaha I just got off the phone with someone with the same number. Same as all of these, thick accent, couldn't pronounce proper English, the whole shabang. I asked, "Well, would you send me paperwork to my address to fill out because I do not give information over the phone." He replied with, "I'll have to check with my supervisor...blah blah more random gibberish and more avoiding the question." Then he started blabbing on about this new program they have and tried to sign me up for it. I responded with, yes, "first I would like you to send me some paperwork to my address, then I would like you to call me back in a few days once it arrives, then I would like you to ever so kindly go [***] yourself, I know this is a scam and I'm not stupid enough to give out my personal information to some random person who can't even speak english." He called back again, and I responded with the same thing, just more profanity. Hope nobody falls for this scam.
I called the Treasury Department to which Bailey stated I can call 1 800 447 8477 to report it to the government. I am saving all the numbers from which they call.
