Who called from 2025069230

Yup same message! From IRS ! saw the caller ID number and 'Unknown Name' and did not pick up. Have received this call once before.

I received message on my landline voice mail system some automatic woman's voice saying call back 202 506 9230 (Washington DC) or they will take legal action!?  I am a lawyer in Portland Oregon! If it is a real government agency like IRS, they usually would send you a notice by mail. Also, they would not call and leave you message on the weekend. Today's Saturday! Come on~ it's Memorial Day weekend - all US government offices are closed!

about 20 minutes ago I received a message  saying '...office white.. from IRS...don't ignore the call..you are going to jail.'.
I called the number right back, a foreign accent voice recording saying '..this is officer White , please leave message after the tone'. after I called back 3 times I received a call from the same number  asking me why did i called , I said that I was calling back to that number to know what it was about.  The guy ask me if that was my house phone number and mentioned mine name , he ask me to confirm that I was that person and when I said no he hang up .

A call from this number said they are from the " IRS,,,Officer Heather Gray "...202-506-9230...I called back on Sunday 5/25 Memorial Day weekend...IRS would not call on a holiday...This is definitely a fraud...
Do not ignore it if you get this call ...Report it ..maybe if enough people complain someone will do something..
