I received a call from 202-550-2891. When I answered, It was a recorded message with a robotic recording.
“This call is an official final notice from the IRS, Internal Revenue Service. The reason of this call is that the IRS is filing a lawsuit against you. Contact us immediately at our department number 2025508807.”
I just got the same call today!!! I actually believed them for a minute until they said they can not send me any prove of what I owe, so i said you just want me to give you my credit card number and pay this off and he said yes and then he will send me prove. I said o ok wait one minute, then I said you are crazy and must be high on drugs and hung up on him!,!!!!!!!
I received the same call from the "IRS" and I am being sued for non payment balony. I just ignored it. If you owe the IRS money they will send something in the mail before they will call you. This is not the first time I got one of these calls about IRS suing me. the last time my wife called back she said the guy that answered with an arab sounding voice and when she let on that she knew it was a phony cal he ripped of a bunch vulgur name calling( f-ing dumb [***] etc. etc.) My wife waited till he was done and stated I am not dumb because I just caught you, so who is dumb? He hung up fast.
