The caller, Amy Jordan, said that the IRS was suing me for because of problem between my 2009 to 2014 tax years. I asked to speak with her supervisor and than she hung up. I am going to the local IRS office in the morning and report this incidence of someone pretending to work for the IRS and tries to coerce people to pay.
Same here. When I call back and ask for their name & badge # (like the actual IRS website says to ask for) they either say 'if you don't believe me hang up' or they hang up. They use multiple 'wireless' numbers to call. All are scams..
