Heavily accented man told me he was from the government and I was eligible for a $9000 grant, I asked him what department of the government and he said "Washington DC" I informed him that is not a department that is a city. He then asked me several questions - I told him I was not comfortable giving out personal information on a phone call and he asked why - I told him I think this call may be a scam and I wasn't going to give information like that out. He told me "F*** you, I hope you die soon". I tried to call the number back - it was not in service.
Got a call from this number. Some guy that I could barely understand claimed to be with the Federal Government. Kept saying he wanted to talk to my son but he could not pronounce his name, and I kept asking him who he was trying to call and from where, until he got mad said "f##k you" and hung up.
Repeated calls from this number. No message left on any occasion. Research on number pointed to this site suggesting a scam-like operation. Blocked the number.
