Received a call today from IRS Aaron Thompson that I am being sued and property seized for tax violations from 2006 to 2010. Have never been called, visited or received any notification. They said they called and I hung up. Also they sent someone from IRS to my home on 2 days from 12 to 2pm and no one was home. I was home these days no one came. Said I need to hire a criminal attorney, I asked to speak with a supervisor and they swore at me and hung up. Trying to call the IRS but cant get a live person
got a call threatening legal action and they wanted to know my lawyers name. they said there were IRS. The guys name was Aaron Thompson but had the hardest Pakistan Acent
Forgot to mention, even if you truly do have an Tax debt or tax issue, they can get your name due to the fact tax debt can become public information after it's gone on for awhile. So don't let that scare you! Just get a good accountant or tax specialist to help you out that you can trust. Don't let these scammers muck with your head.
The IRS does not notify by phone....it would be a letter in the mail if you had a problem. I have received 4 of these scam calls from a very noisy room where you can not understand half of their threat. This number has been reported to the attorney general of my state.
