they buy debts from att telephone co. and other places and worry you to death after it has been settled some tme ago they need to get a job a doing labor work
I got the same calls. They quoted the toll-free number but the number (202)607-2733 came up on Caller I.D. When I called them 2 times and asked them "what is BCR?" ,they hung up on me. When I called the 3rd time and explained that someone said to call them at this number, that they hung up on me and that I have one simple question: what does BCR stand for, she ignored me and asked for my account number. When I told her that first she will answer the simple question or if she also hangs up on me that I will report them, she replied, "Go for it", and hung up on me.
I typed the phone number into MSN Search, which produced no results except recommending Pay-Per-Info sites. I used Yahoo Search, who as usual, is much better, and found these messages.
I hope everyone reports them and that someone finds out what is up and posts it here. Let's put those creeps out of business. I have done it to others who harrassed me before in Florida through BellSouth, who became AT&T again, who bought Cingular, who I would never have gone with if I knew AT&T would buy them. I've had nothing but problems (as usual) with Cingular ever since AT&T bought them, though they claim that nothing has changed except the name. Bull....!
Are there any decent businesses left in America?
