Received a message from 711-201-6226 saying it was the IRS and it was my final notice before a lawsuit would be filed against me. Instructions were to call 202-618-1898.
Received a call today from 214-301-5530 that left an automated voicemail stating that this is a final notice from IRS and they are filing a lawsuit against me, and to call back 202-618-1898. Called that number got some indian call center, spoke to a live person with indian accent, told me i owe like $4000 in taxes from 2008-2012. Would not answer me where they got this information, spoke to supervisor(also indian accent), said theyre from Washington DC, i told him this sounds like a bunch of bull, and he hung up on me.
