I got the same phone call telling me that I have 7000 in free money grant from the goverment. They had my name and address already... The girl on the phone wanted my checking account and or credit card # but did not gave her any info. She went on and gave me a number of Devine Sustin so that she can send me a check.... DO NOT GIVE THEM ANY INFO!!!!
just got the same call, I was in disbelief and told them how i was. It was also a 202 number from washington and i was speaking with an indian man with a heavy accent then he transferred me to his supervisor who did not ask for my verification number that i told i would need, that raised a red flag again then he told me to give him a call back when i was at the western union where i would give them a 234 dollar deposit then receive the deposit and the 7000 grant. Calling someone back when i get to the western union did not seem very professional. I would also hope that our government would not what seemed like an outsourced telephone agency to inform me of a government grant...glad i was thrown off from the beginning, but i did give them my name, phone number, and address. No bank information though...
This is so wrong. Do not give them any info. I knew it was something wrong. I gave them a outdated check cashing card. Lol I never called the so called sup.
I got a phone call as every one stated but the number is now 202 657 5808 and why would our goverment out source these jobs if it were true. They did not want me to give any money though. Why can't they scam there own people and not waste the money for long distance. They want even take my phone call back, cause they are so busy. Still wondering now they have all of my info and want quit calling me and telling me to call them. I wish I had there addresse cause I would go there and murder cows in front of there business.
I received a phone Val from an unknown number, thinking it was my dictator I picked up. The guy went on with his story, I simply said I wasn't interested. He started to scream why, you very give me reason why, very broken English I said that o would like to be removed from good call list and he started screaming obscenities at me. I hung up. He called me back! Who are these people, and can I report them?
hey i got that call too, saying that i was selected from 1500 us citizen and i will receive 700 $ ,but i gave them my account # so what should i doooooo. plz help
