I got the same woman. She said I had won a $7000.00 grant. I had to call 202-738-1189 to get it. I called the number and no one answered, imagine my surprise?!
The same exact message was given to me "That I was selected to get several thousand $$$ from the Government" papers would be arriving at my address and do I want cash, check or direct deposit?

Added to our reject list. * A WhitePages.com search yields the info that this is a land line registered to Mr. Sherman Wiggins at 20 Finks Hideaway Road, Apt 24, Monroe, LA 71203-2402. The other associated person is: Sam C. Lollie (male / female, unknown). So the address listed for this Wash., D.C. area coded land line is in Louisiana which only skews the details, given it's a land line. * The NumberGuru.com site lists it as a cell phone registered to Wash., D.C. company: BROADVIEW NETWORKS, INC. - DC. and 40% of people there report their calls / texts as "spammers". * PrivacyStar.com lists phone registered to Pinkney Shawna (as Scott reported above) at Latitude: 38.8922687 Longitude: -76.9384798 in zip code 20019. * SPOKEO.com shows address as Whittier Place NW, Wash., D.C., an AOL.com E-mail. * Google Maps lists: 856 Whittier Pl NW Washington, DC 20012. Transit: NW Georgia Av & NW Van Buren St. It's a 3 BR, 3.5 BA 1725 sf home that recently sold for $362K. * (That's prob. more than anyone wanted to know, but doggone-it, why don't these people use their skills for something positive, some good toward the world, rather than harassing the rest of us who are?)

Just got a call from this number. Man on other end said I had earned a grant for 7000 and he would like to verify my information to make sure I get my money. He said nothing about the government. Persian accent. I asked him for his supervisor. He laughed, and hung up. I immediately reported the call to the dept for homeland security. I also called the DA, Attorney General's office, and the FCC. I can assume this phone number wont be working in a few minutes.
